Terms and Conditions

By participating in a class or using the studio you will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

As we are a small studio we do not offer refunds for missed classes but you are welcome to find someone to replace you or to transfer to another course of the same value if there is space. Unfortunately we cannot offer catch up sessions if you miss a class.

We reserve the right to cancel a class that does not meet the required amount of people to run it and if this is the case you will be given a full refund.

HEALTH AND SAFETY: For health & safety, we recommend that rings/watches/bracelets be removed before using the potter’s wheel and long hair tied back. Please wear an apron. Don’t take risks reaching or lifting, always ask for help. There are some steps up to the studio so please check accessibility before you book.

CERAMIC MATERIALS SAFETY: The most important Health and Safety message we can give you in our studio, is to listen to the advice we give you about working with clay and glazes. Please follow instructions, and avoid creating dry clay or glaze dust. These fine materials, if breathed in over time, can cause very serious lung conditions.

TECHNICAL ISSUES AND BREAKAGES: Your pottery work will only be handled by us. However, dry pottery is very fragile and firing is not risk free; there is always a risk of technical failure for which we cannot be held responsible.

PHOTOGRAPHY

You may take photos and share them on social media and we will take pictures from time to time for our Instagram account. Please let us know if you object to this.

Communication

We will add you to a class WhatsApp group for the duration of the course. This is so we can let you know any last minute changes or announcements. Please let us know if you would prefer not to be contacted via WhatsApp.
